The Model 4040 vacuum feed folder is a compact floor model that will save you precious floor space, save you setup time and doubles your production. It is equipped with Profold's patented "No-Set-Gap-Set" technology, which takes the art out of folding. Gap setting is eliminated. Our patented Prothane Fast Track Grooved fold rollers provide long-life and the tightest of folds.

The Model 4040 has a feeding performance of up to 40,000 sheets per hour with 8 1/2" x 11", twenty pound stock. It is equipped with a stacking tray capacity of 1,000 sheets. The bottom vacuum feeder allows continuous reloading and operation. Adding our optional High Capacity Feeder more than doubles your stacking capability.

We have eliminated the need for a register table by feeding directly into the first parallel fold section. This reduces floor space requirements by one-third.

Super Elite 500 Vacuum Feed
Tabletop Folder

The Profold Super Elite 500 Vacuum Feed Folder (SE500VF) is a compact heavy-duty tabletop model.

It is equipped with Profold's patented "Prothane Fast Track Grooved" fold roller. "Prothane" rollers have no affinity for laser or copier toner, providing longer roller life. The "Fast Track" grooves in the fold roller allow air to escape, producing tighter folds and superior control of paper stock, including coated stock. The grooves allow toner to escape adding a self-cleaning feature to the fold roller. Self-cleaning "Prothane Fast Track Grooved" roller yields smudge free stock.

Side-guide manifolds and a vacuum wheel feed eliminate the need for fanning. Profold has installed skewed paper side-guides on the feed table with micrometer adjusting screws. This permits fine control corrections for ream edge cut variations while the folder is operating. The skewed guides are more effective and easier to adjust than folders requiring fold plate paper-stop adjustments. They also eliminate the need for a separate register table.

Desktop Folder

Profold's Desktop folder is a compact variable speed folder with big machine features. It is the first and only desktop folder with swinging deflectors and built-in sound covers as standard features. A capacity of 18,000 sheets per hour is achieved with 8 1/2" x 11" - 20 pound stock.

The feed table includes skewed paper side-guides. This permits fine control corrections for ream-edge cut variation while the folder is running. The skewed guides are more effective and easier to adjust thean folders requiring fold plate paper-stop adjustments.

This Desktop folder is equipped with Profold's patented "Prothane" fold rollers. "Prothane" fold rollers have no affinity for laser or copier toner, providing longer roller life. Paper fold-stop design and fold-chart displayed on each folder easily defines exact plate setting for each standard fold.
